The Role

​

Ecliptic is a specialist Technology & Services provider to the Lloyd’s and London insurance market providing unique, innovative solutions to complex and challenging insurance problems. Now established as a market approved vendor, Ecliptic now seeks a Sales Executive to further drive sales and growth.

​

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of new and existing technology products and supporting services to customers in the insurance sector. You will work closely with the product, marketing, direct and pre-sales teams to develop sales strategies & campaigns and will take ownership for following up on leads and closing business to achieve your targets.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • ​Development of sales campaigns

  • Execution of clear, concise sales plan for achieving your targets.

  • Actively seek relevant information to stay ahead of the competition and remain up to date with the industry trends that will support your sales plan.

  • Engage with multiple stakeholders within a client to maximise potential sales opportunities.

  • Operate at a senior level within clients in order to get access to decision-makers to present the capabilities & benefits of the platform, including demonstrating products using demo (video) or a live system.

  • Work with pre-sales to define the best solution to propose to the customer.

We are looking for someone who:

​

  • A successful and proven track record in the insurance business, including the Lloyd’s and London Market

  • Is highly motivated and passionate about sales and self-motivated.

  • Can demonstrate that you are there to help and support the customer with their queries

  • Accountable for their own personal performance and development.

  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

  • Has good active listening skills, with the ability to show acknowledgement to customers and recognise and understand different customer needs

  • Is computer literate with the ability to multi-task and use multiple systems at any one time.
